Sorry I have been MIA

But my house has been crazy busy the last few weeks. We had two birthdays here, my BF and my youngest dog's. So we had a lot of festivities for that and just having the kids here makes things crazy. I wanted to share the cake my step-daughters made for my bf and my pup. The cake was yellow cake with chocolate frosting, it was surrounded by kit kat bars to make a bowl and then they put sugar babies and m&m's to look like dog food. The pink collar was made with fondant and so was the milkbone, but it was filled with bacon so Princess Mimi could have dessert too.

Teacher's Appreciation Week

This week at my daughter's school it is teacher's appreciation week. So everyday we are sending in gifts. Here is what we sent in the first day. I made the post it holder with a coaster and covered it with summery paper and colored in a Greeting Farm image to match. I used glossy accents to give the ball and flower dimension. I then attached the paper covered binder clip and put a twine bow on it and wha-la....done. My DD made her the flower pen.

Birdcage Card

So I thought I would make another card using the French Manor cartridge. I just absolutely love the images on there. This time I chose the rounder birdcage. I hope you like it, since I am still new to making cards it took me about 2 hours to do it all but I had a lot of fun doing it!
