Toasting Flutes with the Cricut

I decided to make toasting flutes for the Bride & Groom. I cut the wording out with etched glass vinyl and applied it to the glasses. I was going to etch it but decided to use this vinyl instead to give it a crisp clean look. For the wording I cut out Bride & Groom with the Tie The Knot cricut cartridge at 1". Of course I had to add bling & I didn't want to over do it so I just a little bit on the stem. I also made wine charms for each glass. The charms say "I Love You Forever" I thought they were fitting. This was super easy to make and I thought could be fun to make toasting flutes for the entire wedding party.Let me just say though taking pictures of the flutes was not easy, so excuse my poor photography skills.

    2. These are gorgeous. I love them. If I could redo my wedding, I would find a new hubby..JK. I wish we would have had more Indian elements to our wedding since Hubby is half east indian. Sadly his mother wasn't really interested in helping out much.

PS - I agree with the pretty hanger.

    13. If I could do a redo, I would be married the way I always imagined, in a church with a full length gown. We decided to save money, and just do in my mother-in-laws home. I had a knee length dress, that looked bridal, but not what I always wanted. I was happy at the time, just afterwards wished I had done what I dreamed of. Sounds like someday your day will be very special

    22. Beautiful toasting glasses! I made some for my sister's wedding, but etched them and they are really hard to see the details. I like your idea of leaving the vinyl on for a more detailed look! TFS! One thing I would change with my wedding would be to have a video done! :)

    23. Nice Job Justina! If I could re-do anything about my Wedding Day it would be to have the photographer take a picture of my Mother in Law, Father in Law and Hubby ALone. I still to this day hear about it ALL the time. Makes me want to crop a pic in photo shop or something...I just may do that sometime! Following your blog now!

    30. Hey Justina :)
I love your flutes, I love the charms even more! They add such an elegant touch :)
Well since I'm not married, was engaged, but broke it off due to some issues he had...I think that just from the planning(or attempting to plan) my wedding I would change is to put my foot down when other people try to control decisions for me. It is supposed to be the bride's day(and groom's) and you can not cater to the whims and desires of every other person in your lives. If I end up getting married in the future(which I hope one day I do) I am going to take control of the planning & make the decisions based on my wants and needs.

You know I'm already a follower of yours, a friend of all your pages, and I already am a follwer of K-Andrews :) I'll go tell her hi for you:) I think I covered all the basis for the blog candy ;)

    33. If I could redo one thing from my wedding it would be I would have insisted that my walk me down the isle (my dad died when I was 8 so she was my both my Mom and Dad). I let her talk me out of it and regretted it every since.

love your flutes that is a great idea.

    40. I had never considered using vinyl on the glasses, Ive just used it for a template for the etching. Really looks nice! Great job.
If I could re-do my wedding I would change nothing. It was my second marriage...first wedding and I am an older bride. I did everything myself..married on the Hudson River (right across from Chelsy Clinton's spot)made everything and had both families included in the ceremony including our grandchildren. I wouldn't change anything!

    50. So pretty Justina! If I had to do it over again, I would choose a different DJ! The guy we hired had me choose my music as always and assured me all was well and then the day of he had NOTHING I had chosen and just chose songs at random by his choice. He even went so far as to chose to play songs I specifically had on my DO NOT PLAY list! It doesn't sound so bad except that everything he chose was completely not our style and that is so important to the feel of a wedding I think. Oh well, we are just as married!

      Very cute idea! TFS
