RGB Codes for Imagine Cartridges

I know some of you have wanted to know the RGB codes for the Imagine carts, well I found the one Chris from Provo Craft did and made it into a PDF for everyone. This was updated in March. Once he updates it again I will revise the PDF and update you all. If you would like to see the file and download it please visit my Google doc and have at it. Click here for Just My Crafts's Imagine PDF file. Please note I do not take credit for this other than making it into a PDF and uploading it, Chris at PC did all the work, so if you want to thank anyone please thank him. My Throwback Thursday Card

Hey everyone!! For today I decided to use a stamp that I have never used before. So I picked Dahlia from The Greeting Farm. I thought that this time I would show you a few steps so you can see how it goes from a plain stamped image into what I create to put on a card. The next time I will take more pictures and maybe do a little video tutorial. So to start I use memento Tuxedo Black ink and Georgia Pacific card stock paper from Wal-mart. If there is something in particular you would like to see then please let me know.

Stamped image

Colored her skin and hair in

Looks close to done

Can you see my testing? I never know what colors I will use until I start coloring.

This is the image cut out and put on a card.

All finished and ready to give to someone
Hope you like it. It took me forever and a lot of flip flopping on trying to decide what kind of card I should put this image on. Thanks for visiting my blog!! Make sure you are a follower so you don't miss out on my future postings!!

The New Cricut Mini by ProvoCraft

So as many of you may already know PC is debuting the Cricut Mini at CHA in Chicago. From what I can tell it looks like a pretty cool machine. The Cricut Mini is a small, lightweight, ultra-portable way to make your projects and be more creative! With the Cricut Mini, you can cut out many types of materials, including paper, fabric, vinyl, and much more! Cricut Mini was designed for someone who wants an easy-to-use, portable electronic cutting machine. This is the perfect machine for someone just getting into paper crafting, but is also a great option for experts that want a more portable option that works with our online design tool, Cricut Craft Room. Cricut Mini cuts up to 8.5" x 12" paper and other materials, and works with any computer PC or Mac with an Internet connection! Cut small shapes and fonts from ¼” to larger cuts up to 11½”! How awesome is that??

Cricut Mini

So from what I can find out this machine will be $119 MSRP. So this is a great entry point for those of you that are on a limited craft fund (who isn't??) What do you all think about this machine? Wil you be getting it when it comes out? I think I need to see it in person before I buy yet another machine. I still haven't even unpacked the small cricut I bought on HSN a few weeks ago.

Happy Hump Day...Let's Go Shopping!!

Happy Hump Day!! So I have been on a roll this week. I hope I don't jinx myself. But today I wanted to share the shopping girl from The Miss Anya Collection by The Greeting Farm. I colored her about a month ago and just cut her out and when I got the WTG Girly Girl stamps from MFT I thought it the sentiment would go perfectly together...what do you think?? Doesn't it make you want to go shopping?? I guess I am always in the mood for some shopping.

Thank you very much for coming by this week and leaving me comments. I really do appreciate them all and I hope you will let me know what you think about today's card.

Another Greeting Farm Gift Card Holder

As promised I have made a new project. I am going to try to make something more often than not. I just absolutely adore all of the Greeting Farm stamps and this one is no exception. Her name is Cheeky Rockabilly and this is my twist on it. I wanted a black and white card with just a little color, so I decided that navy blue would be the color. I love how her hair came out but looking at it now, I know I can improve on my copic skills if I just practice a little more. So let me know what you think.

I hope you all like it and please ignore my poor photography skills, I need to work on that obviously. Have a great Tuesday everyone!!

My IMAGINE-ation Monday

Happy Monday everyone!!! I hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great week. When I worked I always seemed to feel ill every Monday morning....I think it was just the dread of knowing I had to go to work and make some money. Now I forget what day it is half of the time especially now that it is summer time and the kids are out of school.
So for my Imagine-ation Monday I decided to make an altered journal. I love journals to write down random thoughts, my feelings at the moment or to let my boyfriend use when he's on the phone talking business (he can't talk without writing stuff down).
To do this I got a composition book, a zig 2-way glue stick and some paper that I printed from my Imagine. I used the Country Carnival cartridge to print two sheets of the old newsprint one and one sheet of the yellow & red rose paper. The Imagine prints so beautifully, I absolutely love it. Once everything is printed I trace the cover and backside of the journal on the white side of the sheets and trim accordingly and I cut the yellow and red paper to a six inch width so I'd have a 3 inch strip on front and back. This is mostly to cover the spine of the book, so any width is OK. I also printed a few of the embellishments from the same cartridge like the bird and the butterfly but I forgot to write down the sizes, Sorry!! I glued the front and back cover sheets on first and then the spine cover and trimmed all the edges for any overlapping. I added the bird and butterfly to the front of the book. I also used Tim Holtz's distressing ink in Tea Dye to add some color to the front and back to give it an allover aged look.
The 3 sheets of 12 x 12 paper I printed from my Imagine

Again the end. =)
It is a quick and easy project that will be used for as long as there are blank pages in this book. I also save the extra scraps to use on another project some day. I hope you like my project and that it inspires you to make your own. If you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment here or catch me on Facebook at Justina's Crafts!! Until next time!! XOXO J

Prima Warehouse Sale Haul

OK so I promised to show my haul that I got over the weekend. This is only of the Prima Sale stuff that I bought. I mostly bought white flowers because I can spritz them to the color I need them to be. And I love white flowers.
I also got a pink and red one, but I forgot to add it to the picture

Multiples of the flower jars minus the pink and red ones

All the other flowers I got

Bling, Stamps, Paper and some Free Brads

Ribbon I got. I love this.

Paper stacks I got. There are really 2 of each

I just had to get the black rack with the glass jars.
Over all I would say I was pretty successful. But I would have loved to buy more. Next time I think I will go the first day as I was told some of the stuff was cheaper on the first day. By popular request Prima looks like they will be having an online warehouse sale at the end of August, so keep your eyes peeled for that. Thank you to Tammy, Caroline and Patty for being so nice and including me into their crafty group....it is so much fun to actually have crafty friends that live around me.

Toasting Flutes with the Cricut

I decided to make toasting flutes for the Bride & Groom. I cut the wording out with etched glass vinyl and applied it to the glasses. I was going to etch it but decided to use this vinyl instead to give it a crisp clean look. For the wording I cut out Bride & Groom with the Tie The Knot cricut cartridge at 1". Of course I had to add bling & I didn't want to over do it so I just a little bit on the stem. I also made wine charms for each glass. The charms say "I Love You Forever" I thought they were fitting. This was super easy to make and I thought could be fun to make toasting flutes for the entire wedding party.Let me just say though taking pictures of the flutes was not easy, so excuse my poor photography skills.

But before you go what about some blog candy?? Please be a follower of my blog and leave a comment about one thing you would re-do or something you would like at your wedding. For me I have a whole list of things I want, one little thing I want is to make a pretty hanger for my dress. Since the photographer always takes pictures of the dress on the hanger I want the hanger to look nice & be a keepsake.
